Losing color during the healing processLast Updated: October 20, 2019
During the healing process, many would think that the procedure had gone wrong. Within 10-14 days of the healing period, it involves loss of pigment because your body is trying to heal. Also, it is normal that the pigment is gone after 2 weeks. This is normal. One of the possible reasons, the cut might not be too deep. The artist needs to cut into the dermal-epidermal junction for the pigment to stay deep enough and last.
Anyone that went to this procedure must be prepared for the ups and downs during the healing period. You have to trust your artist and the procedure.
